For my international food client, I am looking for an Accountant with a focus on VAT and Tax to join a growing team in Hamburg. 

Within this position you will become an active participant in current and deferred tax calculations (in the quarter and at the end of the year). You will be responsible for the Independent creation of the sales tax test for the annual sales tax return and participate in national and international sales tax inquiries.

You will monitor summary reports and advance sales tax returns and develop company-internal guidelines and processes

Ideally you will have completed studies within Finance /  Economics // business law // tax law or training as a tax clerk /with several years of professional experience

You will have a good knowledge of German tax law. Advanced knowledge in the areas: sales tax, corporate tax and trade tax would be beneficial.
You will be confident in the handling of Microsoft Dynamics AX, very good knowledge of MS Office
and have accuracy and reliability in dealing with numbers combined with a high degree of self-motivation and flexibility
 

This is a permanent position and due to the current situation you will be required to work from home office and also in the hamburg offices. 

The salary on offer will be €60,000 -€65,000 k pa Plus a bonus of €5,000 k
